The department of Sports, Recreation, Arts, Culture and Heritage hosted the Sedibeng Gospel Festival on the 13 December 2009 at the Vereeniging Civic Theatre. Featured artists included: William Sejake; Kgotoso Makgalema and the Vaal Community Choir.
This event further cemented the Sedibeng region's reputation for being a forerunner in the field of Gospel and Choral Music. The event was a huge success and the organisers are confidant that events like these, besides providing entertainment value, will inspire up and coming talent to work harder to attain the pinnacle in this music genre. |
