“Celebrating the legacy and values of OR Tambo”

Hon. Executive Mayor Busi Modisakeng delivered Sedibeng District Municipality’s annual Integrated Development Plans (IDP) and Service Delivery & Budget Implementation Plans (SDBIP) for the financial year 2017- 2018 to ensure interdepartmental integrated planning and coordination of the annual State of the District Event.

The 5th democratic local government which followed the peaceful and yet competitive local government elections held last year 2016 3rd August is in Sedibeng District Municipality led by the Executive Mayor Hon. Cllr Busi Modisakeng who communicated her operational plans and related financial budgets to the people of Sedibeng by hosting key stakeholders on the day of presenting the SODA 2017.

SODA is a public participation and a collaborative service delivery process which aims to improve government’s service delivery capacity for the benefit of communities, while it further seeks to empower and lobby communities to participate in a development programme that affects their lives.
