Signing of the SA Constitution   The people of Sedibeng and the country at large will remember the 10th December 2013 which marks the 17th Anniversary of the signing of the South African Constitution into law by the then President of South Africa, Mr. Nelson Mandela, in Sharpeville in 1996. This years event will be commemorated at Boipatong Stadium.

  State of the District Addess 2013 22 May 2013  


State of the District Address   The Executive Mayor of Sedibeng District Municipality; Cllr. Mahole Simon Mofokeng will deliver the 2013 State of the District Address (SODA) on Wednesday the 29 May 2013 at 16h00.
The Address will be transmitted live to 5 venues across Sedibeng. The SODA will be broadcast live on local radio stations and can also be viewed on DStv. Read more..

Vaal River Carnival 2012   The Sedibeng region is proud to host it's annual River Carnival as part of it's Heritage Month celebrations. A variety of events and festivities will be hosted across Sedibeng.
